Regulatory compliance is a cornerstone of the KeetaPad.

Verification Levels

KYC is handled centrally by our identity partner Footprint. This verification status is supported by Keeta's in-house wallet and select community-built wallets, allowing for a seamless experience across the ecosystem.

  • Basic: Initial onboarding and limited interaction capabilities.
  • Verified: Full identity verification (ID Document + Liveness). Required for most IDO participation and high-value transactions.

Profile Management

KeetaPad employs a hybrid approach to profile management, distinguishing between user identity and project data:

  • User Profile (On-Chain): Metadata tied directly to your wallet address, including your handle, avatar, and verification status (KYC flags). This data is immutable and decentralized.
  • Project Profile (Off-Chain): A rich-data service for IDO creators. It stores extensive project details, whitepapers, social links, and branding assets to ensure high performance without bloating the blockchain state.

Compliance data is handled securely and is never stored on-chain, only revealed to IDO creators when required by law.
